i found the rear tire flat today, so i removed and put in a plug/patch...fixed!!...anyway, since the tire was off, it gave me a chance to look over the rear suspension...i really hate the clunky ride so i went about looking over all the usual suspects....i was curious to see the strut protector/cushion wasnt really attached to the top or bottom strut assembly...it just seems to free float...is this correct??.....other things noticed were the rear sway bar mounts seemed very easy to pivot with hand pressure....and the rear brake calipers make a clacking noise when "jiggling"....i used some high temp RTV behind the facing out pad and it eliminated that noise...i need to do the same on the others.

..i had some time yesterday to pull the rear passanger wheel..the caliper on that side didnt have as much play/rattle [compared to the rear drivers]but i pivoted it up and gave it a thin coat of RTV to make sure to prevent any possible noise transfer.
