At 74,000 miles, will my warrantee cover a rear shock that's out? The estimate from a non-dealer for both shocks installed in the rear is about $300.
any advice is welcome? Sonata Hybrid 2013

From what I saw in a video, you have to remove the sway bar to get the bolts out. So the suspension has to be supported while doing that.

I remember undoing a lot to remove the shock. Including some of the brakes and table suspension.
A good independent garage has the accumulated experience to do it. The rear shocks are on the cheap side, because its a basic shock, not a strut shock.
