Something weird happened to my 2015 Elantra. My daughter opened sits behind me on the driver side. She opened her window with the button on her door. When we asked her to close it, she said she couldn't. She was pulling in the button to close, but it wouldn't. I was able to close it on the master panel on my door. I tried on her door and sure enough, it would open the window, but would not close it.

Has anyone come across this issue? Do I have to take apart the panel and replace the button?

Thank you for your time.

I think you do need to remove the door trim panel to remove the switch.
But which switch is it that is faulty? It could be the one on the rear door, but it could also be the driver's door master switch. FWIW, master switch faults seem to be more common from what I read on the forums here.

If I helped you fix it, why not...

Your support is greatly appreciated

So would I need to replace the master switch? I can open and close from the driver panel, but the rear passenger can only open...
