I've managed to chip the pearil white paint on the rear bumper of my 2010 SF Limited three times in a month, once by dragging a cardboard box across it. Have a tube of touch up, but apparently need to protect the bumper with a furniture pad any time I'm hauling anything large. My last SUV lasted 7 years without the bumper paint chipping. This SF is a month old. Anybody else having these problems?

Not me, in fact I have remarked at the lack of paint chips after 2.5 years of service... despite many trips down gravel roads and the occasional brush with trees.

The 2010 rear bumpers don't have the rubber pad on top that was common through the 2009 model year. Form over function, I guess.

Ah, that would make a difference. My rubber protector (actually it's cheap plastic) has several scuff marks that the car gods probably intended for my paint :)

Anyone know if there is an aftermarket part for a 2010? Im afraid of scratching the top of mine.
