has anyone got lots of rattles from the door panels (the black door card and associated coloured clips)

im at a lost how they are rattling on all but smooths surfaces

i have removed all 4 door cards and the plastic holding clips, put some butyl tape (like blu-tak) where they sit in the door card, and then put some on the section where the clips meets the metal door.

so everything should be tight. yet they still rattle, im at a loss how the clips are still rattling. ive end glued the door opening handles ( from the inside) so there is no movement, everything else looks OK.

has anyone been through this and how has it been resolved.

I had a rattle in my passenger door (2016 5 door) and I found it was related to the plastic insert with the electric window switch. It can be totally removed from the door. I disassembled the door and used
metal washers on the screws holding it in as a quick fix, it has changed the harmonics so that while it rattles it is with bass heavy music at a less common frequency and does not do it due to road vibrations any more.

I think with some rubber washers under the metal ones it could eliminate that completely. My cousin recently advised you can also get dampers for the speaker mounts which I may investigate as it now is just them that cause the rattle.
