Has anyone with the 2019 Santa Fe Ultimate
tried the rain sensing wipers. Mine don't seem
to be working. Where is the sensor on the windshield
located? I guess I will have to contact my dealer.
I do like the vehicle though.

Take it back to the dealer.

The rain sensor is usually at the top of the windscreen near the rear view mirror.
Switch the ignition on and set the wiper stalk to auto then pour water over the windscreen in the area of the sensor and the wipers should switch on.

I did that. I will contact the dealer this week. I know they
will take care of it. I have been dealing with them for 16 years.

Sounds like a plan.

Remember to post back and tell us what was causing the problem so your experience will maybe help the next guy with the same issue.

My dealer has been great, I emailed the service manager and replied
to bring it in when I had a chance, no appointment necessary'
So I went down this morning and it was taken care of.
Rain sensing wipers are all fixed. It was only the sensor that was not pushed in all the way.

Great! Glad it was something so simple to put right.
Thanks for posting back to confirm the fix.

I had a similar issue with my 2019 Santa Fe Ultimate T... the rain sensing wipers would work during the day, but at night.. they had a mind of their own. Either wiping at an insane and distracting rate or not at all, where I'd be forced to manually flick the switch. The dealer, mentioned they reset the rain sensing computer and that did the trick...

My rain sensing wipers never worked. Today while raining I drove to the dealer and left the car. They called me in an hour and said the windshield rain sensor at the windshield was not attached correct. I asked if it was just left unplugged and was told it was plugged in but not attached correct. What does that mean? Anyway it works now. They Lyfted me back and forth from the dealer to my house for free.
