I have 2018 hyundai tucson 2.0 gdi, the cooling fan always runs at high speed, it runs when put the key in on position and runs while the engine is running even when stop the engine and key out it runs for about 20 seconds then stop. May you help me to understand what's going on!

What you describe is often a symptom of a fault with the engine coolant temperature sensor. When the signal from the sensor is implausible (too high or too low) the engine ECU switches the cooling fan on as a fail safe measure to protect the engine.

Have the engine ECU scanned to see if there are any trouble codes logged. You can also use the scan tool data list to check the sensor signal. Before the first start of the day the engine coolant and intake air temperatures should be pretty much the same. If the coolant temperature is significantly different from the intake air that means there is a problem with the sensor or it's wiring.

If I helped you fix it, why not...

Your support is greatly appreciated
