We have the exact same thing happening with our 2008 Limited. Took it in, they said everything sounds normal and the noise is just from actuators. Seems to me no tranny in good shape should make that much noise. I'm letting it go for now, but if it doesn't go away I'll be taking it in again.

Had mine in to the dealer 3 times now and they still say they can't hear the noise. I told them it needed to be driven and warmed up so they said they drove it "quite a bit" and still couldn't duplicate it. When I picked up the car it had 1 more mile on it than when I dropped it off. It's getting really frustrating......
