I have a hyundai i20 sportz petrol car.
Yesterday my driver accidentally put 8 litres of diesel in it and drove near about a 100 kms. The car seemed to work fine, except for a lot of vibrations occurring in the muffler/silencer and a little odd smell. Later 2 litres of petrol was put in the car. Till now there is no other problem in the car(couldn't see any).
Now, i don't have much knowledge about cars and i am too worried. Will anything bad happen to it? And is there any way of resolving the matter with minimum cost?
I googled my problem and saw few people suggesting filling up the tank with petrol, would that be a great idea? Please help. Thank you.

Fill the car with petrol and drive it normally, all you have done is added some 'upper cylinder lubricant' to your fuel tank, diesel is basically a light oil. Diesel doesn't have any lead in it so even the catalytic convertor should be ok, just a bit sooty for a while.
