For the first time, I've just tried to fold the rear seat cushions and backs as I have a fairly large object to transport tomorrow.

For the life in me I cannot get the rear seat cushions to lift so they can be folded forward against the backs of the front seats. They just seem to be stuck to the floor. According to the owner's manual you are supposed to first of all lift the front portion of the seat cushion, then lift the rear portion and stand the cushion verically to enable the seat backs to be laid flat.

I can lower the seat backs, no problem, but because the cushions are still in place I can't get a horizontal platform, just a sloping one!

Has anyone had this problem or could offer advice please.

At the front of the seat cushion where it meets the carpet in the center there should be a loop that you pull out which unclips the seat and alows it to swivel forward. Maybe they have got tucked up and you cant see them.
Thanks steve, you are quite right, the loops weren't exposed at all, in fact they were doubled back under the seat. I had to fish for them. All ok now though, and I've pulled them forward to where they should have been in the first place!
