Picked up this 2015 Sonata Hybrid Limited about a week and a half ago. It replaced a totaled 2005 VW Golf TDI. My first Hyundai and my first Hybrid as well. I'd like to do some exterior appearance mods and possibly lower it with new wheels as well. So long as my MPG isn't affected too much.

New wheels will lower your fuel economy, my guess would be around 10% but it depends on the wheels. Also, if you are replacing the tires, particularly with a non-LRR tire, that could cost another 10% or so in fuel economy. The wheels look they way they do as they are specifically designed to reduce the drag around the tire and wheel well.

2015 Hybrid Sonata on 20s
Wow, those rims are gorgeous. Great job.
What size tires did they come with originally? My '14 came with 17", not sure if you can go 3" up. I thought just 1" is recommended?
Also, did this take a huge bite out of your fuel economy?
