I have a 2004 Santa Fe V6 2.7 litter .
After taking everything apart to replace timing belt, having made sure to line all marks I proceeded to remove the timing belt but after removing the timing belt I noticed that the top left sprocket had moved backwards, from about 1pm to about 10am.
When I try to place the mark on its place the sprocket SPRINGS either back or forward with tension.
Can I just continue with installing the new belt and when I get to the point of placing the belt on the left sprocket, can I just use an wrench to hold it in place until I put the belt in place?
