Hello
Thanks for taking time to read this.
I bought my i10 brand new, always been serviced by Hynday and everything has been fine. Infact I love my little car.

However, today when driving the auto locking thing was not locking as I drove. I could hear it trying to lock the doors but it would lock/unlock several times. When I got to my destination I tried all the doors and tailgate.
If I lock/unlock with the remote key they all lock/unlock apart from the rear drivers side.
I have to lock/unlock from inside manually.
I did have a few boxes in the car today and they were uptight to the door, could this have pushed something?

thanks In advance

If one door lock is not operating remotely then that is the issue. A pretty common fault in Hyundais in general for the door lock motors to fail. The Body control module when it commands the auto-lock needs to see the locks have reached that position, otherwise, it will retry. There's a sensor in the lock that tells the BCM what position it's in. If something was up against the internal snib hard enough to stop it from moving to lock that likely would have the same effect.

I have just found your reply and also have the same issue on my 2014 2nd Generation i10. In my case on a couple of occasions over the last month for a few days it has worked correctly locking and unlocking as normal. At the moment struggling to get to the bottom of the issue. I keep wondering if it is a loose connection somewhere. Reluctant to take to dealer for a big bill. Pleased to hear if you have made any progress with your issue.
