Hi,

I own a 2003 2.7L V6 Santa Fe.

I have a repair manual that says that the front 3 plugs are coil and the rear 3 are wire but the dealer says that all 6 are wire spark plugs.

I haven't removed the engine cover yet. Can anyone confirm for me which is correct and whether I need to get wires or coils to run to the spark plugs?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks. I removed the engine cover and it is obvious that there is six wires. Not sure why the manual talks about 3 coils?

Thanks Again

there are indeed three coils. Each coil has two connections for the plug wires. Get the OEM wires for better connection and fitment. Best to also get a new gasket for the upper intake manifold.
