Hi,

Can anyone please let me know or post an image of where is the exact location of the pcv on a Hyundai i40 1.7crdi.
Normally you would see the pcv valve near or coming off the rocker cover, I searched all around that area and had no joy.

It would be much appreciated.

I could not find any reference to the pcv in the gds repair manual.

Maybe somebody else will be more helpful.

Cheers.

You can see the rocker breather hose goes directly to the air intake so it may be built into the rocker cover. On my other diesels the pcv was attached to the intake hose and was plastic.

What you have in your hand is the brake booster vacuum hose. The hose below with the heat protection on it is the breather hose from the rocker which traditionally would be the PCV

Thank you again I’ll have another look in the daylight tomorrow. See if I can spot something that looks like that. If not I’ll post it here. Cheers!
