it appears that both parts
87620-E6030 and 87620-E6070
appear to be compatible with the car.
The difference seems to be only "w/ black trim" vs "w/o black trim".
One place said I should get 87620-E6030, the other one I should get 87620-E6070 - both assumed I would need to get it painted.
The clip-on "cover" of the original mirror to be replaced in the proper paint of the car is still OK. So I probably do not even need a paint job.
And I have never seen a mirror that is not "black" (not counting the cover).
Unfortunately no parts vendor was able to provide any explanation so far.
Does anybody have any insight?
