I have a 2011 Sonata with 80,000 miles on it. When driving the car normally the parking brake light will come on after stopping a few times and stay on for the duration of driving. This has been going on with the car for years. When I took it to the dealer they thought the light was broken and replaced the instrument panel. When parked the light goes on and off like normal when working the parking brake pedal. I've heard others mention it might be the vacuum pump, the brakes function normally and don't feel off at all.

Any idea of what the problem could be would be appreciated!

It could be the vacuum pump.
Or the vacuum sensor.
Or there could be a leak in the vacuum hose.
Or the brake fluid level sensor could be faulty.
Or there might be a short in the warning light wiring.
Or.....

If I helped you fix it, why not...

Your support is greatly appreciated
