Just for the heck of it, I decided to check if my 08 accent was throwing any codes without the MIL coming on. Lo and behold: a P0461!
I did a quick search and found this: P0461 TSB
So now I want to check my ECU's ROM ID before I head into the dealer to get it serviced. I figure if I walk in there with a TSB, the ROM ID, and the code, they're gonna have to do something without trying to talk their way out of it.
Is it possible to check the ROM ID without a Hyundai scanner? I've just got the code reader, not a Hyundai scan tool. Maybe it's on a sticker somewhere?
