Hi,

I have a 2005 Hyundai Accent GLS with about 137k mi. The check engine light came on and I get an error code P0136 O2 circuit (bank1, sensor2). I would like to verify that this is for the downstream sensor, the one near the flex pipe below the engine. I found Bosch Oxygen Sensor #13461 which is described as Actual OE Oxygen Sensor; Upstream/Downstream. Would this be the right sensor? Also, there is an exhaust leak at the gasket that connects to the muffler pipe. Could this cause the check engine light to come on? Planning on fixing the leak this weekend.

Thanks for any info.

Yes, it is.

Sounds like it.

Yes, it could. I'd certainly advise fixing the leak before spending money on an O2 sensor.
