^^ what @AUTOSPARK said. Last time I was filling oil after changing it out, it first was on L. Put in almost a quart and it was at F.

Why try to gauge it. The safe money is to simply pour some in wait a couple minutes at most and stick it again. It takes 2 or 3 tries but THEN YOU KNOW how much is in there. Don’t ever trust those quickly change places either or ANYBODY till you see it near the top of that stick.
I would genies about a quart but that’s just a guess.

You wouldn't be guessing because that's what everyone has been telling you!

I added a quart and I can assure you that's an accurate assessment. If you're at L, add a quart and you should be at F.

I've never been to the "L" point on my dipstick. After you figure the oil/dipstick amount out, let me know how high of a building can you fall off of and not die.

If an engine is burning oil, 1 full quart works great until the next time the oil reaches the Loser engine level.

So melodramatic.
