I've seen several like that. In fact, my Santa Fe's crush washer was JUST like that when I bought it used. The aluminum had migrated up the threads so badly I had a heck of a time getting the plug out! I feared the pan was stripped. I cleaned everything up real good and thankfully the threads are all fine. The blue Hyundai replacement filters I have all come with a new washer taped to the box.
