My Elantra doesn't have fog lights yet but I'm thinking of installing them later.
I'm not even sure how difficult it would be to install aftermarket fog lamps,
but I thought I'd share your thoughts on which one looks better.
(stock would be so much easier to install since no modification is needed)

Mine came with fog lamps and I almost never use them. But consider the color of the light. To me they look silly if the color doesn’t match the headlights. Back in my youth I stuck a set of amber fog lamps on my car. Yuck
