No USB in i20 2013

Hey there,

Two weeks ago i bought a Hyundai i20 from 2013. It is the 1.2i Business Edition.

Now i want a USB but it has only AUX. I searched on google for building a USB in it. Retrofitting it was called. Some post say that it is possible and fully working. I even saw a video where a guy does the same and it worked.

Now i ordered the same, and build it in my car, but the radio does not respond to anything i put in the USB. I saw that the cables are connected for usb that goes into the USB and AUX part. If i connect my phone into that USB port it charges my phone, so it haves power.

My radio dont have Bluetooth also. Does somebody knows why my USB port does not work?

Thank you in advance!

Does somebody knows why my USB port does not work?
Have you read the section of the owner manual relating to the USB port?
The USB drive needs to be formatted in a certain way for the radio to recognize it. I don't own a Hyundai so I don't know the details.
