I'm happy to try and help but it would probably be best if you started a new thread on the Sonata forum relating to the problem.
It might be a good idea to check that the crank sensor has a good power supply and ground. Connect your black voltmeter probe to the black wire terminal on the sensor's harness connector then touch the red probe to the two other terminals. With the ignition on you should get approx 12V on one terminal and approx 5V on the other.
