Yes, I think that's very good. I see Hyundais number actually fell year over year but Toyotas fell further. The only problem I have with some of these rankings is that they can parse what constitutes "check engine" issues with only repair costs for "major repairs" ( not average ) and may get significantly different results. Without knowing, I'd assume that CarMDs criteria would represent a wider consumer experience with each brand but I don't know. Consumer Reports used to be famous for selective samples which, of course, is a big no-no in statistical analysis.
