Hello I'm new here and want to say hello and throw out a couple of questions . I recently purchased a 2003 kia optima with a 2.7 litre automatic. The car has 150000 miles on it and hasn't been cared for very well. It doesn't seem to have much power I'm planning to tune it up and change the oil etc. Is the lack of power normal to these cars? Also I'm looking for new seats and interior does anyone know what vehicles interchange with mine .

it’s an old economy car, it’s not going to be very fast but the question is whether it’s “normal” slow or abnormally slow - I would expect it to be able to handle daily driving fine with only some extra thought needed when merging onto a highway.

as for a newer interior, I’d say it’s probably best to save your money for a better car in the future. But yep, fluids, air filters, hope for the best.
