Hi from jthorsen,
Have 2; 2003 and a 2012 Elantras. The 2003 is a much tighter car and more solid. The 2012 is more plastic but gets 41+ on the highway, while the other does well to get 32 on the highway. 2.0L engine in the 2003 which makes it pretty zippy. The 1.8L for the 2012 really improves the mpg's. Enjoy both of them but our radio with the navigation system, iPod hookup and iPhon hookup is giving us problems and our local Hyundai dealer is new and the service dept is lacking, right now.
