My last floor jack took a doo doo on me. I am looking for a quality jack, because I am tired of them dying after a year of regular use.
Can anyone recommend a good floor jack, I would prefer an aluminum one, since I have to carry it down steps from my townhome to the parking lot.

I found this one, but I dont know anyone who has used it.

I have a 4.5 ton Goodyear jack its held up for about 8 years of pretty regular use. But it is heavy probably 90 lbs. I have been wanting to get one of the aluminum racing jacks for the last couple years let me know how it works...

If you get a cheap jack, make sure you bleed it properly. Sometimes it's not done properly in the factory and can severly shorten its life span.

I did quite a bit of work on cars, and I never bought a jack, I always used the ones that came with the car. Never one failed.
