My last floor jack took a doo doo on me. I am looking for a quality jack, because I am tired of them dying after a year of regular use.
Can anyone recommend a good floor jack, I would prefer an aluminum one, since I have to carry it down steps from my townhome to the parking lot.

I found this one, but I dont know anyone who has used it.

I have a 4.5 ton Goodyear jack its held up for about 8 years of pretty regular use. But it is heavy probably 90 lbs. I have been wanting to get one of the aluminum racing jacks for the last couple years let me know how it works...

that doesn't look much different than the cheap harborfreight one I have. I only use it twice a year and only on the accent. Hasn't failed me yet!

...i use jack stands just in case

But I imagine someone that works on cars as often as you do could stand to spend a little more money for a better quality jack.
