Greetings everyone.

Looking to get a "new" Sonata and i am torn between which one to get. Would love to hear your opinion on which option is better (1) or (2)

(1) 2016 2.4L Sport 22,800 miles, $17,000, Black on black, Sport value edition package

(2) 2016 2.4L Limited 45,816 miles, $17,000, Black on black, Option 1, 4 and 5

The major difference is the mileage and then sport vs limited.

Let me know what you think.

Its your choice, decide what features you want and that should make up your mind.

Both have the same engine and transmission and overall performance , mpg etc will be the same. It is my understanding that the Sport has slightly larger front disk brake rotors and firmer suspension over the Limited ( at least that is the difference with the Sport 2.0T as well as the 2.0 produces more Hp and Tq as it is turbocharged but both of these cars are the 2.4l so performance will be very much the same) the Limited will have a lot more technology than the Sport, larger info screen, I believe radar cruise, blind spot detection, all leather interior, better stereo and obviously has a higher resale value than the Sport as it is the same price with 2x the mileage.

Keep in mind if warranty is an issue for you that unless they are CPO cars the 10yr 100,000 mi warranty does not transfer to the next owner, so you will only have the 5yr 60,000mi warranty on either of them with that the Sport will be covered a lot longer than the Limited.

Drive them both and decide what is important to you, more tech and luxury or less overall mileage. Are they both colors that you like? is leather important to you?

You have to pay for it in the end

The Sport has 23K miles less. If it doesn't have any issues, I would go with the Sport, although I like the added features of the Limited.

Many factors to weigh (feature differences, mx records, tires, overall ride, etc). In the end, pick the one that 5 years down the road, you will still be happy with and have not regrets.

Thanks all for the inputs, i went with the Sport with 22k miles. It is in perfect condition, not a scratch on it. The premium features would have been nice but the miles and condition won out.

Looking forward to learning more about my car on the forums.
