I start my 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.7L V6 (w/ adjustable rearview mirror), let it get up to operating temperature, rev the engine, and let off the gas. After dropping RPM's the engine stutters and acts like it's just about to stall before evening back out to normal idle.

I should probably get my vacuum gauge out, but haven't got around to looking for it yet.

It started after replacing my exhaust manifolds (w/ cat converters). I tightened the manifold and the sound is better (no more flapping/card-in-bicycle-spoke sound), but the pseudo-stalling is still happening. The higher I rev it before letting it drop, the more marked the stalling effect.

Am I losing vacuum? I did also just replace the air intake. Or could I still be leaking exhaust?
