I have a 2013 Hyundai sonata limited 2.0T.. i just fixed the steering coupler but apparently when I was cleaning out the old rubber stuck in there.. i got it out of alignment... there's got to be a simple way to reset that...

Otherwise I have to try to align it with my entire steering column taken apart and find a way to power my car up..

The backup camera guidelines are controlled by the steering angle sensor, so it sounds like maybe the sensor needs to be recalibrated. You'll probably need to visit a garage to have that done, unless you happen to own a dealer level diagnostic scan tool.

A generic OBD2 tool wont be able to do it anyway. OBD2 is just for dealing with emissions, so the tool can only communicate with the engine. The steering sensor is part of the ESC...Electronic Stability Control.
