Is there a way to turn off or have the 'Drive Safely and Obey Traffic Laws... Agreement Screen'? Or is there a way to make it go away automatically after a couple of seconds?

Thanks
Mike

Nope. You're stuck with it. Probably to protect the manufacturer if you are playing with it while driving it. I'm sure all of that is stored in an on-board computer.

About the only way avoid it is to get one without the nav but even the stand alone units have the same basic message.

Just be glad that the passenger can operate the nav system when the vehicle is moving. Some nav systems only operate when the car is in park, which is a big PITA.

^ +1. I hate that safety feature. It renders the navigation system quite useless if you can't adjust your settings or add a way-point. As for the safety message, it's Hyundai's little legal discourse so that when you crash they can prove they warned you not to be an idiot.
