To be honest, your better off getting a Garmin GPS with free lifetime map up dates. My 2016 that was updated once already is missing many roads and the speed limits shown are wrong in a lot of locations. Plus you have to spend $200+ if you want to update it.

Check these guys out for mounts, pricey but they work better than suction cups or dash mounts...

Install an aftermarket Android Auto/ Apple Carplay unit. It always has the latest maps, and during computex Apple announced that it would allow google maps and waze on carplay. Google has a fleet of it's own mapping cars, it'll have the latest maps compared to everyone else.

Any audio shop should be able to install an aftermarket head unit.
