Hi everyone. Today I payed a $200 refundable holding deposit subject to inspection for a 2017 MY18 Tucson ActiveX with 83000kms. The car was advertised for $20990 by a large dealership on the Goldcoast, however photos weren’t up online as the vehicle was only just listed. I have been looking for sometime locally now and even though the k’s are slightly higher than I’d like, the car represents good value from what I’ve seen, in my area, on Carsales. I’m due to inspect the car tomorrow and the dealer sent me through a contract this afternoon. My concern once reading the contract is the build date is Nov16 and compliance Feb17. My understanding is that if a car is built in or after November It can be advertised as the next year model? Surely though, the car is not MY18 if it is built in 2016? Just want to know the facts before I view tomorrow. Also was expecting the later model alloy wheels. Any advice greatly appreciated(and needed)😬
