Hi i have a hyundai getz 2005 1.3 and i have a problem with my battery getting drained, (yes, i have tried changing the battery)

the Fuse draining my battery is the "Fuse 29 15A"
what and why could cause this to happen?

List of things this Fuse controls:
Instrument cluster
Rear fog lamp switch
Data link connector
Audio
ETACM
Door warning switch
Multipurpose check connector
Luggage lamp
Map lamp
Room lamp
Overhead console assembly

It's happening because something on that circuit is drawing power when it should't be. Can you tell us how much current is being drained from the battery by fuse29?

The most common cause of a current drain on this circuit is the boot light staying on when the tailgate is closed. If you fold the rear seat forward you should be able to look into the boot without opening the tailgate to check that the light is off.

Have you had any work done to the car recently? Does it still have the original Hyundai radio? Do you have anything plugged into the OBD connector (Data Link Connector)?

Hi Thanks for responding!

the fuse draws a current of aproximately 200mA it can jump around + - 3

my father removed the radio and "something" still drains power, so its not the radio either
