I bought my Accent last November as an econo commuter (waaay less gas than the Caddy) and almost immediately (after a few months) things started failing as they will on a car of that age like bulbs etc. Back to the dealer for a wiring fix on Monday when the speedo/odo quit, back the next day regarding a sidewall bubble on a new tire that they installed when I bought the car which will be replaced tomorrow. The twist of the knife came this morning when I drove 4 blocks (it was raining) to my doctor. All was good until I was leaving the doctor's office and...it dropped but did not lose the muffler! The muffler is good, the pipe is good but the studs/nuts holding the flanges together had dissolved and there was no sign of a gasket in there either. The muffler comes off tomorrow after the tire visit and I will cut off the studs, drill and tap the holes for new bolts then put it back together with a gasket this time!

My car is playing "what next?":D
