Hi New to forum so much info to go through keep getting side tracked thought I would get strate to the point took my Tucson diesel 2008 to new mot garage as have recently moved town thay tested the brakes on a two wheel roller tester, the tester looked very concerned but carried on but failed it on front wheels binding, now I've took the pads out each side at a time and the discs are still stiff to turn???? But am I right in thinking it's all time 4wheel drive and should have been road tested with a decel meter???????? Any advice please as I don't want to take car back tomorrow and make myself look a tit

Yes, you are right, although you can use the two wheel roller tester but your supposed to put the wheels that aren't being tested on rollers so those wheels are free to rotate along with the wheels being tested. But I've never come across an MOT station that has rollers so they just use the decel meter for testing 4WD vehicles.

Have a flick through your owner manual and you'll find a section in there about the 4WD system. I'm sure there is mention in that section about roller brake testing.
