Mod Bug Just Hit!

after owning an 02 Trans Am and having the mod bug hit me with performance parts, i didn't think it would happen as bad with the Sonata since it's not a quick car compared to the Trans Am but wow! I must say, just adding the LED DRLs on my Sonata makes me want to make it look even better than how it already does! I'm getting HIDs on friday and going to order the LED tail lights in a bit, any suggestions as to where I should order them from? Oh and of course, here's the pic of my first mod!

Got my LED Tail Lights at Shark and got them pretty quickly. They are definitely worth the $.

I got bit by the MOD bug and I've been sick ever since. Never before have I done this many things to a car. Normally I would just tint the windows and that would be it. So far I've tinted, strut bar, mud guards, LED interior bulbs, LED door sills, HIDs for the lows and fogs, rear bumper diffuser and the F24gdi emblem on the back. Two things that I would still want to do is turn signal mirrors and if that rear camera from SR works maybe that too.
EDIT: I would also like to change the wimpy horn someday. :thumbsup:

Very nice! Could you tell me where you got your HIDS? I'm shopping around to see which ones I'd like to get and for the best price.

I also plan to get the LED tails, they look awesome.

I got them at a local shop, they had them in stock, 65 for the set, i'm planning to get LED tail lights also but im hoping they drop in price a little before i do

Thanks! That seems really cheap for them. I am hoping the LEDS drop in price too. Although I did buy them for my 07 and I think I payed alittle more. The ones for the 11's look much more stock.

yeah, I have a friend that has a shop, he got me a good deal, I think I will buy the LED tail lights this week

The LED tails from Shark are stock lights from the top of the line Sonata in Korea. They are Hyundai OEM parts. Just need to do some re-wiring of the connectors as they are different than the NA Sonata, but very easy to do. I would hold off to see what lights come with the Hybrid first though.

I've seen pic's of the Hybrid concept and the tails look interesting. Clear lens instead of red like the current Sonata. They hve BMW style lines along with the strip. The stop lamp itself has some funky design to it, not sure if it's a LED strip or LED bulbs or what. It looks like the tails will be a direct swap with current Sonata. I know the headlights won't come over as it looks like the shape itself is different. Would probably grab the headlights if it was a direct swap, like it's LED strip that goes around the lights.

The hybrid head lights are amazing! Why couldn't they keep them the same shape as the gas-engined lights?

Figured it was a camera phone. My led drls are finicky, yet easy to fix. Hopefully you have good luck with the fogs.
