Hi All,

Well, I've had my Accent for one year now. I have to report that I'm very satisfied with my purchase. It's only been to the shop for repair one time and it was nothing. Just a check engine light and they reflashed per service note.

I've put over 26,500 miles US (42,647 km) on it and I'm averaging 33.53 mpg US. The winter really killed my mileage. I've been able to get as much as 40 mpg. in the summer with some effort.

Yesterday marked 3 years with my baby.   :dinnerfor2:  I had hoped to clean her up nicely- wash/clay bar/wax/interior detail and maybe change the plugs, but I've been sick and we got storms so that put a damper on it. :(  Anyway, 50,3xx miles on her now.

Fortunately I don't drive as much as I used to...  I'm hoping to continue keeping it under 12k a year until the thing is paid off. :57:

5/06 --> 12/06: 17,844  580.19 gal, 30.75 MPG

1/07 --> 12/07: 17,029 571.06 gal, 29.82 MPG

1/08 --> 12/08:  11,295 372.87 gal, 30.29 MPG

1/09 --> 5/09:  4,162 146.40 gal, 28.42 (last winter was particularly rough on FE, struggled to get 30 MPG.)

I'm not really looking forward to the 60,000 mile servicing, mega expensive. :(  It's been an alright car, I'm starting to have some quirks that are bugging me but I still have bumper-to-bumper extended through Hyundai until 100,000 so hopefully I'm covered.  WIsh I could get FE up there, but I have a lot of city driving thrown in the mix and the auto really leaves alot to be desired in low speed conditions.

6 months, 9700km. Basically projecting to do roughly 24,000 a year including a few roadtrips. I get roughly 500km per tank, and it costs me about 25 bucks to fill up from nearly empty. I don't baby it when I drive it too in the sense that I always do 'jackrabbit' starts; however, I manage my gears properly to get the lowest RPM ASAP when city driving, always downshift properly and properly engine brake whenever necessary to save on braking. I probably won't have to change my brake pads for a very, very long time.

little under 2 years, about 23500 miles so far...i havent had the chance to test hw only mileage but assume 40 mpg easily as long as i
force myself to stay under 65 mph (which is soo hard when your on main hwy's and 65 seems like your crawling at times...especially
when those 16 wheelers drive past you at high speeds...) city only has been like 27 mpg... combined varies 30-33 mpg

I have had mine for 25 months.,40,200 miles. About 300 miles per fill-up (usually around 8.5-9 gallons U.S.).Winter knocked my average down to 28-30 from 33-34,36- 37 highway only (75-80)mph.In the shop only for ecu reflash.
Just changed plugs to NGK BKR5ES-11's and switched to Amsoil 0w20 synthetic oil in hopes of possibly squeezing out a little more . :thumbsup:
