Wouldn't worry about it. I'm in the 100k club without any problems.

The CEL has been on for a few days now, so I had the dealer check it out when it was in. They said 3 codes were showing for a faulty Mass Air Meter. Luckily it is under warranty and did not cost anything to me. From what I understand this is a pretty substantial part, and I can't believe it went after 45K. They said it could have been due to bad gas? Any thoughts here. This can be costly if this part only has a usual 50K or so lifespan!! Other than that the car has been great, and even with the CEL on, I didn't notice any real change in performance. Anyone else with the 3.3 engine have similar issues? Thanks. ciao!

What were the codes ? Did you notice any drive issues ?

Say WHAT !! (Clark Horward warning sounds in back ground)....
Any thoughts here.
YEP,,,,, find a new dealer with driveabilty tech and advisor that knows their butt from a hole in the ground... Air flow meter is nowhere near fuel, only thing passed through it is filtered air before it enters intake manifold.. closest association with gasoline is the injector spray at cylinder head right above intake valve..

See more throttle related codes with revised TPS assembly and reprogram.. Recent program released for the 2.7, 3.3, and 3.8 all with the fly by wire throttle (2006 + up Sonata, Santa Fe, Azera, Entourage, Veracruz)
