Well just got that done too. And they messed up my alignment. Sweet takin back tomorrow to have steering straightened out AGAIN! For goodness sake just do it right the first time! Wasting my vacation!

Already a long topic running on the arm recall..

BTW,, Hyundai states in the directions that only rear is to be inspected/adjusted.. that why your overall align is whopper jaw... they should have maybe offered a complete 4 wheel align to you with paying small amount to adjust the front toe to keep finished align straight.

Taking mine in Wednesday. Service told me just the rear arms are being replaced. Something about possible early corrosion?

Hoping this does not screw anything up...car rides flawlessy right now!!

I would probably vent at the Service Manager.

I just brought mine in for a different issue, and they told me about the control arms. It was inspected, and both of them were found to be cracked.

Items were replaced, and they did a full 4 wheel alignment, gratis.

Yeah but they failed to make sure everything was straight. Stearing wheel cocked to the left! Just pisses me off that I have make multiple trips for simple fix. Inconvenience! Just do it right he first time!

FYI,, Hyundai states specifically in the replacement directions that only the rear camber/toe is to be adjusted.. HMA is not paying us for the front to be squared with the rear, and the service people in the aisle is not bothering to offer the front toe adjust at a reduced rate since car already set up and measured with HMA picking up the labor for the rear adjustment.

Dont get too upset with the dealer for following directions given by Hyundai Motor.

They only do the rear end alignment as a part of the recall. I just went and had this done today. I needed alignment so when I found about this recall I was actually very happy. Told my dealer that I needed alignment on all 4 wheels and they charged me $45 to do the fronts at the same time
