Lost Remotes Wanted

Hi and :00000732: to the forums.

Is there a reason as to why whoever you bought the car from did not have the remotes? They would always be on the keyring with the keys, surely! And only one key! Hmmmmm someone with the remotes and the other key (you get 2 keys and 2 remotes with the car) can easily drive off with your car.
Anyway, back the question, main dealer only I fear, and then any old fobs would need to be deleted from the system too. But I believe this can be done without the fobs being present.

I don't know if the adverts on this site cycle but at this very moment there are adds for duplicate keys and remotes. Also a google search brings up loads of traders claiming to cut duplicate keys with programmed transponders and replacement remotes at a fraction of the dealer prices. Might be worth getting a key that has the remote built into it.

The original owner of your car would also have been given a "key code" along with the keys which assists official hyundai dealers in providing replacement keys.

.......... the car was cat d repaired thats why only one key & no remotes ( ps lower case !!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
