I said the same thing about a piece-of-crap Pontiac I once owned. When a coworker overheard me complaining about all the parts I had to replace, she offered to buy it cheap. She then drove it two years without a single problem (naturally), and then sold it to some kid for the same price she'd paid me. Sometimes the lemon is in the eye of the beholder.That lemon 2010 I had will never see this. I really have to wonder who wound up in that POS and how long before they said, "Screw it" and took the thing out back and set it on fire.
Have you serviced the transmission at all?My 08 S.F. turned 100k a week ago and she is running strong and like new with just normal maintenance per owner's manual and the below items.
Replaced tires @ 48k w/Michelins and again @ 94k w/Continentals
replaced sway bar links @49k w/Mevotechs & @98k w/Moogs
replaced 2 wheel bearing under Hyundai warranty @ 50k & @ 52K
Rear brakes replaced @ 58k
Battery replaced @ 74k w/Hyundai OEM battery
Fog light bulbs replaced @ 64k & again @ 92k
Headlamps Low beams replaced @84k
I will continue to maintain and service hope to get another 100k of use.
