My buddy is interested in buying an '18 Limited. Lighting is important to him and he wants to know how good the stock HIDs are.

He'll be doing a night test drive but wants to also hear from Limited owners.

Very good in my opinion, whatever that's worth. Hi Beam is excellent. Nice white light

According to IIHS testing, among the best stock headlights out there in ANY car (regardless of price).

I agree 100%. Those HID's are outstanding. Nice white light with excellent beam. And the dynamic feature ("bending" headlights with turning of the steering wheel) is subtle, but a definite plus. (You can turn this feature on & off and compare for yourself on a night time test drive. Switch the headlight stalk switch to 'Auto' with the engine running and bending headlight feature is on, it turns off when the headlight switch is moved to any other position).

At 3am, climbing the dark (and I do mean DARK) Smokey mountains, that was when I fell in love with them. Like above, the high beams are amazing. Low beams really illuminate well. My opinion, of course.

The dynamic bending feature? Not sure I could buy any vehicle again that didn’t offer them.
