Earlier in this thread folks mentioned a hill start assist for the Kona.

I'm sure I'm missing it, but I can't find a reference to this in the Kona manual or elsewhere. I know of the downhill assist feature, but is there an actual feature (button) for 'hill start assist' (i.e.: starting on an upward incline)?

I drive a manual all the time, so I get the concepts/operation - just trying to understand if there's an actual feature for 'hill start assist'.

Thx.

Hill start is automatic, no on/off button. Both my 6M Elantra and the Tucson DCT have it. You have to come to a full stop. Once you release the brake the hill start will hold the brake for up to 3 seconds or if you tough the accelerator.
