I just bought a 2013 Accent with 85K kms. Anything I should be doing (maintenance or otherwise)? Thanks!

If you have no idea of when the last oil change was, I'd start by doing an oil and filter change. Use that as your starting point for regular oil changes.

The owner's manual lists the recommended service intervals for inspection and fluid changes.

If you never got an owner's manual with the car, you can donload a PDF version from this site: https://carmanuals2.com/get/hyundai-accent-2013-owner-s-manual-82881 It's for a right hand drive, but the other info should be good.

I actually own a Canadian 2013 Accent GLS manual with about 87k KMs.

These are the maintenance items we have done.
60k replaced transmission fluid with Amsoil synthetic. Fixes shifting issues in -20c temps.
Oil changes every 8000km with synthetic.
Engine air filter changed.
Cabin air filter changed.
Front brake rotors and pads... changed twice.
Rear brake rotors and pads... changed once or twice.

Here are the mods that I have done:
Short throw shifter
Morimoto Mini D2S HID projector retrofit
About to replace the rear shock absorbers this weekend.

I second the above comments.

Oil change every 6k-8k km. I have been using regular dino oil.

Also, have the coolant quality checked. I had to get mine flushed at 150k km.

Changing the manual trans oil at 110k km really improved the shifting feel.
Have the serpentine belt checked. Mine had to be replaced at 120k km.

If you live up North, get some rust protection e.g. Krown.
Have the alignment checked and fixed. I get that done every 50k km or so, and it always improves ride quality...
Get Philips X-tremevision 100%+ halogen bulbs (or Sylvania Ultra), they improve the standard head lights materially.

And then, enjoy plenty reliable cheap miles with your Accent :) I have now 190k km on mine (2012 GLS manual), and the only repair item has been the front stabilizer bar just recently.

I saw a link for an owner's. But is there a source for a service manual?
Also, I second checking out the sway bar bushings and the electronic system for the sparkplugs by 100K miles.
