Jacking Points

So i’ve been wanting to jack up my car to change the brakes however if i jack up from the pinch welds (which id prefer not to do) there is no room to fit a jack stand. The underbody is completely covered in the front of the car so it’s hard to see a strong point there to jack from that’s not the pinch welds. It’s also not possible to jack it up from the center of the side of the car because of the rocker panel covering right next to the pinch weld running along the side. Where is a good spot to jack up from in the front and rear? I hope i explained well enough without sounding dumb.

This is the rocker panel issue. No room for a jack or jack stand without bending that.

I've always put a jack stand right next to the pinch welds. I found somewhere else online a while ago that those spots would be enough to hold the car up, possibly with some damage to it.
All Hyundais have this issue. Could they make the pinch weld reinforced plate LONGER

Do this very careful and at your own risk

I might have to just use a smaller jack then. My jack saddle takes up 90% of the pinch weld spot there.

I’ll try this, thanks
Could use an inflatable air jack to lift the car and put a stand under it.

I use a floor jack, and put it under the bolt where the torsion arm connects to the chassis on my Sonata, and then a jack stand under the spot where the jack goes..Never had a problem...

They make a " slotted " puck like disc , that you can set on
The pad of a floor jack. This will do a safe lift from that
Area without crushing the seam.
