I have read that the IX35 width is 1820, I presume this does not include the wing mirrors? Could someone estimate how much extra this puts on the width and can they be folded in before turning the engine off? I mean like can I drive into my garage with the mirrors folded in.

Sorry for the tardy response...
With mirrors in normal/out position, it appears to make the width another half foot+, at least, but that is simply eyeballing
it from the sides, using a long piece of wood.

With mirrors folded in, (and yes, the car will "drive" with them folded in), it appears that the widest section is the rear
upper fender, belt line/hip area. With mirrors folded in, the width looks to be affected by maybe an inch or two, or not;
hard to tell by eyeball, but my best guess is with mirrors folded in, the width is that static 1820/ 71.7" or, another 1-2 inches at most.
Hope this helps.

The mirrors can be folded in, but only manually by hand. There is not an automatic folding mirror option, at least not here in North America.
