Hi All
just bought a new 3 button fob and transferred the circuit board across. doors lock and unlock ok the engine turns over but doesn't fire. Car is a 2013 model anyone had the same experience and found the solution?

I assume this is a flip key where you press a button and the key blade pops out?
If that's the case you need to remove the transponder chip from the old key case and fit it to the new one. The transponder chip is usually separate from the remote circuit board. Basically the immobiliser is seeing an invalid key because the transponder chip is missing, so it wont allow the engine to start.
