I don´t know why this engine is not equipped with CVVT system, like accent and other Hyundai engines, I know is a 1.2 liters engine, but some extra fuel economy will be welcome and maybe little more power given by CVVT. For example the Toyota Yaris has 1.3 litter engine with VVTi

Looking at those links it's not really for the manual anyway :-

1.2 Active 5dr - 108 g/km (possibly skinnier tyres)

1.2 Classic 5dr - 119 g/km & 1.2 Classic 5dr - 108 g/km (2 figures given, possibly the mid season facelift with tweaks?)

1.2 Comfort 5dr - 119 g/km

1.2 Style 5dr - 119 g/km & 1.2 Style 5dr - 108 g/km (as the Classic?)

1.2 Premium - 114 g/km
1.2 SE - 114 g/km

Tyre size, weight and aerodynamics all come into it.

The autos :-

1.2 Active Auto - 129 g/km
1.2 Comfort Auto - 139 g/km (fatter tyres than Active? Probably slighter heavier)

1.2 SE - 142 g/km (again tyres maybe? And it's only 3 more than the Comfort)

If it is the basically the same why is the emissions higher on the new one?
As far as I know because of the below already posted - it seems they can tweak settings/emissions by doing whatever they do to suit the vehicle I guess

"Basically yes. A fee tweaks and re tuned".

Combined mpg 61.4 mpg

New Gen 110 1.2

Top speed 109 mph
87 BHP
Combined mpg 57.6 mpg
